Bennett Hill

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Hill of Atlanta, formerly of Linden; two daughters Janet Edwards of Pasadena and Gay Etheredge of Atlanta; one brother Alton Hill of Linden; one sister Beuna Mae Hoague of Houston; four grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Margie Hill; one brother Ancel Hill; and one sister Arlene Ezell. Judge Hill was a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and World War II. He was a Cass County judge for 12 years, a member of Masonic Lodge # 192, a member and past president of Linden Lion’s Club, American Legion past Post Commander and State First Vice commander, and a Silver Haired Legislator for eight years. Memorials may be made to Linden Cemetery Association, Linden Masonic Lodge, First Baptist Church or Linden United Methodist Church.
