He is survived by his wife Martha Rust of Hughes Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law Gary and Jenny Rust of Longview and Sammy and Nancy Rust of Hughes Springs; two daughters and sons-in-law Marlene and Melvin Watkins and Carla and Robert Barnes all of Hughes Springs; eight grandchildren Marty and Michael Watkins, Ken and Clint Rust, Jon Rust, Casey McClendon, and Stephen and Amanda Barnes; and nine great grandchildren Kayla, Austin and Abby Watkins, Ashley and Aubrey Watkins, Gracie Rust, and Trenton, Colton and Ripley McLendon. A brother Arlie and a sister Cleo Meadows preceded him in death.
