Services for Lillie Rowe, 84, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Slaton Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.

Ms. Rowe was born September 7, 1933 and passed away June 12, 2018. She was a member of Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Annie Jimmerson; son, Randy Rowe, and brother, Herbert Jimmerson, Jr.

She is survived by children, James Rowe, Regina Watkins and husband Tommy, Betty Rowe, Roy Rowe and wife Fay, Dean Rowe and wife Twanna, David Rowe and wife Donna, Becky McDaniel and husband Dwayne; grandchildren, Tori, Cecil Ray, Patrick, Randy, Chris, Tammy, Randall, Coy, Roy, Christina, William, Joey, Melanie, Jonathan, Ashley, Shawn, Jr., Jeremy, and Lisa; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Lula Mae Kersey; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

  1. My great aunt Nell was like a mother to me when I was a small child. Her and my granny were inseparable. I will miss her dearly. I love all of my family. And hope we pull through this together.

  6. I knew her as Nell. I stayed with her in the summer and she was a fantastic cook. She always made me laugh. She was never one to mince words. She told you what she thought and spoke her mind. I can remember her taking us to the show or to the lone star lake, or Dangerfield park. Loved Nell very much. Always considered her an aunt and Deanie, Becky, Roy are like cousins. She will be sorely missed.

  7. I can remember your Mom with love and laughter ? I had the privilege and pleasure of being around your family growing up and have wonderful memories that I will cherish. She will be missed. I know Moma is talking to her now and catching up on gossip. I love you all and may God comfort your family and heart. ??????
