Charles E. Huff

December 16, 1950 ~ July 24, 2018
Charles E. Huff, 67, of Linden passed away July 24, 2018. Mr. Huff was born December 16, 1950 into a large family full of love and the love of country living. Charles served his country proudly in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He spoke softly and we all listened closely. He spent his career in sheet metal roofing and also in the oilfield, where he worked hard and made friends where ever he went. Charles spent all his off time outdoors, but his biggest love was his daughter and his grandchildren right behind fishing, hunting and all things animals. He was our best friend, Papaw, dad and brother. We love you.
He is survived by his daughter, Mistey Huff and husband Hoot; four brothers, Leonard Michael Hubbard, Harold Ruben Huff (Benny) , David Paul Huff, James Allen Huff; four grandchildren, Burgandey Sky, Coalton Mathew, Codi, Savannah; nieces and nephews, Cathy, Melissa, Herbert, Ruben, William, Teresa, Laura Lee, Melissa, Paul, Denny, Chris, Sandy, Christina, Lisa and Robin, along with numerous friends and other family members, you know who you are.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruben Huff, Jr. and Patricia Huff; one sister, Laura Lee and two brothers, (Bill) Leslie William Hubbard and Lowell Steven Hubbard.
Services will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Huff Cemetery with Bear Semple officiating and under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
There will be a time of visitation from 9:00 until 11:00 am., Saturday morning at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the good samaritan who stopped to help Charles.

My condolences to the family. May God bless you with hope and peace. Jesus promised to resurrect those who have died. (John 11:23-25) He tells us that death, sorrow, tears and pain will be done away with. (Revelation 21;4) There is much more at jw.org. Steve
I was so sorry to hear about his passing. He helped me back when I was younger. He helped my mom cut my cast off when a doctor wouldn’t, preventing me from losing my leg and saving my life. I’ll always appreciate that. RIP
Prayers for the family during this difficult time. Charlie was a good guy that seemed to never meet a stranger.
We want to let you know that our thoughts are with you and family. Charlie was a good friend and will never be forgotten. A lot of laughs and memories. You will be missed.
The Huff family has been our neighbors for many years. Charlie was such a friendly, outgoing person. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers for his family.
I am sorry for your loss of Charles. Almighty God promises at Jeremiah 31:13, "’I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow." Isaiah 25:8-9 tells us that Almighty God will abolish death forever and wipe away tears from all faces; Acts 24:15 shows that we will be able to see our lost loved ones again on a restored earth. 2 Peter 3:13.
I am saddened to learn of Charles death. He was a kind and sweet soul. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
