Earline Ella Davenport, 92, of Linden passed away September 8, 2018. Mrs. Davenport was born May 21, 1926 in the Bear Creek Community to Charley D. Davis and Blanche J. Cromer.
She is survived by one son, Darrell Davenport; daughter and best friend, Debra Davenport and husband Kevin Pierce; sister, LaJuana Banning and husband Fred; life long friend, Jeanette Christopher; extended family, Donna Arnett and the Arnett Family, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Eugene “Tom” Davenport; parents, Charley and Blanche Davis; son, Leland Tom Davenport; sister, Charline Johnson and two brothers, Junior Davis and Leatice Davis.
Services will be 2:30, Wednesday, September 13, 2018 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Burial will follow in the Avinger Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
There will be a time of visitation from 1:00 p.m. till service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Lum for his love and care for Earline and for keeping her going.
