Services for Peggy Jean Crossland, 81, of Greenville, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Daingerfield Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 9:00 until 10:30 Saturday morning at the funeral home.
Mrs. Crossland was born April 14, 1937 and passed away September 19, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norris and Marie Cannon; sister, Patsy Wasson; and Billy Cannon.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Crossland; brother, Jerry Cannon; niece, Kelly Shafer; nephews, Michael Wasson, Scott Cannon, and Andrew Cannon; great-niece, Natosha Shafer; great-nephew, Dillon Shafer.

Words cannot express how sorry we are to hear about Peggy’s passing. She became a very dear friend and was such a sweet and amazing woman. We will truly miss her and thank her for leaving us with such wonderful memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and may the Lord give peace and comfort to all of you during this difficult time.
