Lawana Jean McElhaney, 81, of Jefferson, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 in a local hospital. Mrs. McElhaney was born October 6, 1937 in Texarkana, AR to Lewie Monroe Cambron and Oneita Honea.
She is survived by two daughters: Patricia Duncan and husband Dennis Joe of Jefferson, Sheila Greenhill of Jefferson; one son, Patrick Birdsong of Texarkana, AR; three brothers: James Harold Cambron, Gerald Cambron and Vance Cambron; two sisters, Judy Smallwood and Reeda Sisk; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford McElhaney; son, Wendell Ray and a son-in-law, Phillip Greenhill.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Bear Creek Cemetery with Bro. Taylor Duncan officiating, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
