Services for Acelynn Jean Morris, 5, of Daingerfield, will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
Miss Morris was born June 27, 2013 and passed away January 25, 2019. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Morris, Jr.; great-grandparents, Ruby and David Patterson, Bill Dickerson: Dois and Beulah Simpson; cousins: Rex David Dickerson, John Baker and Lance Baker.
She is survived by her mother, Tiana Dickerson; brothers: Lane Logan Hampton and Devin Lynn Morris; grandparents: Rex and Jeanie Dickerson, Brenda Simpson, and Bobby Morris, Sr.; uncles: Cody Dickerson, Brandon Morris and wife Katelyn; aunt Cassie Reagh; great-grandmother, Alice Ann Leonard; cousins: Kylie Dickerson and Aleigha Hamm; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

My deepest condolences to the family: May your cherished memories help to ease your sorrow. Romans 12:15 tells us to "Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep". Today, I weep with you. Hoping in Almighty God’s promise of the time coming when there will be no sickness or death AND His promise to bring back the dead can help sustain grieving ones (Acts 24:15, Revelation 21:1, 4).
I want to express my sympathy to the family of this precious little Acelynn Jean Morris. What a beautiful child. I cannot imagine the anguish and pain you must be feeling. I asked my Sunday School class today to please lift you up in prayer in the days ahead. I certainly will be praying. We have the assurance, as believers in Jesus Christ, that we WILL see this little one again, and we know that she is in His presence where there is fullness of joy and pleasure forevermore. Psalm 16:11
The only consolation is that Acelynn is with both her daddy and her Father in Heaven now–but continual prayers for her family left behind here on earth–
