Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Paul, Katie and I will miss Aunt Nell. We have some great memories of our visits both at the house and then out and about with my mom and daddy, usually involving Ham radio or food. I always loved coming over to the house and seeing her and Uncle Sonny. Patti and Karen, I pray for some peace during this time of grief. Love you both!!

  2. To my Aunt Nell, you will be sorely missed. You are so loved. But you are in Heaven now with you’re Sonny, and all those brothers and sisters. God is good. I love you Aunt Nell. ??

  3. After my Nannie died you & Sonny adopted me as a grandchild. I will always remember your smiling face. You’ve finally been reunited with Sony. Rest in Peace Nell.

  4. Aunt Nell will be truly missed. I’m so sorry for your loss. Praying for Gods’s peace and comfort! I love y’all.

  5. I’ve watched in awe the love of this family–the care over the years that both Mr. and Mrs. Barnett have received from their daughters Patti and Karen. Such a beautiful example of God’s 5th Commandment and Christ’s love. Mrs. Barnett will be dearly missed…

  6. I have some wonderful memories of time spent with Miss Nell…She was funny, compassionate, and a true friend…she will be missed… prayers for your families….

  7. Patti and Karen, my heart is broken for you girls and selfishly for myself too! I love your Mom so very much! I will being "pen-pals" with her and knowing she was waiting for my cards! You both and your families are in my heart, my thoughts and prayers. I love you both like sisters! ‘The angels are always near to those who are grieving, to whisper to them that their loved ones are safe in the hand of God.’ Eileen Elias Freeman

  8. Im so thankful I got to see you and Nell on Sunday, but so sad that I won’t be able to be with you on Thursday. You know I love you and Karen! I watched the beautiful video you and Karen put together of your mom and dad. It made me smile. Precious memories!!! Hope to get together soon!

  9. I’m so sorry to see this beautiful lady gone. I knew her only got a little while. She and her husband were friends with my husband while my husband, Joey, was a ham radio operator. We would eat breakfast together on Saturdays. She would always make us feel like we knew them all our lives. Like I said, beautiful lady.

  10. I am so blessed that Mr. Sonny made me part of the family as his red headed stepdaughter years ago. Love having been part of this family’s journey over the past 30 years. They are both reunited and happy together in heaven. Love to my stepsisters, Patti and Karen; you will continue to be in my prayers.
