Donnie Carroll Hodgin was born April 8, 1940 in Weinert, Texas to Fred and Winnie Best Hodgin and passed away May 10, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Lonnie Hodgin.
Donnie is survived by his wife, Vicki Hodgin of Lone Star; son, Bob Hodgin (Ken McRae) of Bisbee, Arizona; step-sons, Chad Lawrence (John Molina) of Arlington, Christopher Lawrence of Hughes Springs, Collin Lawrence of Hughes Springs; and grandchildren, Odessa Hodgin, Sakari Hodgin, Samuel McRae, Damon McRae, Ava Hodgin, Lacie Lawrence, Addyson Lawrence, Julia Lawrence, and Dakota Lawrence.
A private family burial will be held at a later date.

It’s always hard to say goodbye to a good person, and just words do not do justice to a life well lived. Don was always willing to pitch-in and work shoulder to shoulder on request. There’s no doubt that he will be missed on many fronts by many people, and I am one of those. To Vickie and the whole family, my sincerest condolences on Don’s passing. My prayer is that God will grant you closure and pleasant memories.
