Funeral services for Ms. Dorothy McEntire, 85, of Hughes Springs, will be 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2019 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 5:00 until 8:00 Sunday evening at the funeral home.
Ms. McEntire was born October 28, 1933, and passed away June 25, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband Carrol Gene McEntire; parents, Willard and Mary Benskin; brother, Bert Benskin.
She is survived by her son, Eugene McEntire of Hughes Springs; grandchildren, Summer McEntire of Houston, Jennifer McEntire of Dallas, Clinton McEntire and wife Bree of Longview, and Zachary McEntire and wife Haley of Midland; seven great grandchildren; niece, Deanie Whitney; and nephew, Brooks Benskin; along with 32 other nieces and nephews on the McEntire side.
