Richard Price McCool, 91, of Tool, Texas passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 22, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. McCool was born July 13, 1928 in Moline, Illinois to Sloan McCool and Norma Elizabeth Matteson. Richard was a Christian, Marine and a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be sorely be missed and he is now with his Lord and Savior.

He leaves to cherish his memory, sister, Autumn Luana McCool Heisler; daughters, Holly Jean McCool Heimsath and Maria Bernadette McCool Splawn; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three former wives, Beverly Sue Adkins McCool, Pauline (Bitty) McCool, Lydia McCool and one son, Houston Terry McCool.

Services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 26, 2019 at the Shiloh Cemetery with Pastor Jon Ward officiating and under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
