Teddy Joe Ford was born August 6, 1946 in Gruver, Texas and passed away October 28, 2019 at his home in Hughes Springs. He lived much of his life in the Texas Panhandle working as a gas tester for a petroleum company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Ford; parents, George W. and Lena Mae Ford; sons, Richard Ford and Travis Ford.

He is survived by sons, Mike Ford and wife Eva, and Joe Ford; grandchildren, Crystal Ford, Shelley Ford, Chevy Ford, Sheldon Ford and wife Beth, Mae-Mae Ford, Jace Ford, Skyler Henderson, Mikey Ford, Eli Henderson, Sophie Ford, Emma Ford; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Freddy Ford and wife Rosemary; sister, Flora Campbell and husband Kevin; and his dogs that were his "babies", Sally and Jeff.

Teddy enjoyed nothing more than fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. After the death of his wife, his grandchildren were his greatest joy.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Reeder-Davis Chapel with Bro. Joseph Adams officiating. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
