Bobbie Jean Simpson Riddle was born March 2, 1928 and passed away December 25, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, T.V. and Ivy Simpson; bother, Billy Joe Simpson; daughter, Donna Brooks; and son, Ricky Nichols.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie Riddle; children, Sondra Turner, Carol Nichols, Jeannie Goodwin and husband Rocky, William Hargett and wife Tabitha; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Beverly Nichols; brother, Vedder Simpson and wife, Sue; sisters-in-law, Gail Hall and Glenna McElhaney, Gayle Riddle and Reba Simpson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time for visitation form 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.

I will miss Bobbie and her sweet spirit. I loved working with her at Malouf and the visits we had. Just wished we'd had more. She always made me laugh. She was a joy and a treasure. God bless you Eddie and the family. May God comfort.

I have nothing but fond memories of my youth at Bible Baptist Church with Mrs. Bobbie Jean sitting up on the second pew and going to visit her home.
