James Glenn Waters

Services for Mr. James Glenn Waters will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Zion Hill Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City. Mr. Waters will lie in state from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
James Glenn Waters was born November 22, 1942 to the union of Jody Waters and Codella Jones Waters of Upshur County, Texas. Both parents preceded him in death. James Glenn was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
He received his education from the Bruce Schools. He went to work for Tyler Pipe and later worked for the Cotton Belt Railroad, where he worked for 15 years, until an injury forced him to retire. He united in holy matrimony to the late, Ida Lois Hale. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; six sisters; and two brothers.
He leaves to cherish his memories, one sister, Mary Waters of Las Vegas, Nevada; two brothers, Claude Waters and Vernon Waters, both of Gilmer, Texas; and a host of extended family and friends.
