Floyd Allen Walker

Floyd Allen Walker, was born in Morris County to Zembra and Trudie Walker on August 25, 1939. Mr. Walker married Ellen J. Arthur on January 11, 1958 and during this union, three children were born.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Zembra and Trudie Walker; daughter, Marquitta Walker; four brothers, Jimmy Walker of California, Ronnie Walker of California, Dale Walker of Oklahoma and Williams Walker (Booth) of Omaha, TX.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Walker of Omaha, TX; son, Eldret (Pam) Walker of Omaha, TX; daughter, Alfreda Lyons of Omaha, TX; two grandsons, Montral (Tasha) Walker,of Midlothian,TX, Arntral Walker of Omaha, TX; great-grandson, Jordan (Lit'l Man) Walker of Pittsburg, TX; two brothers, Clifford (Brenda) Walker of Omaha, TX, Phillip (June) Walker of Oklahoma; three sisters, Sandra Buckner of Dallas, TX, Phyllis Harris of Dallas, TX, Robin Walker of Oklahoma, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Reynolds Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mr. Walker will lie in state from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

Wow, so sorry for the family lost. I first met Mr. Floyd in December of 1971 when our dad Gene Rowe Sr. became the minister of Mt. Mitchell Church of Christ and we was living next door to this quiet soft spoken man. From there we became a member of their family. Much prayers for the family.
