Services for Jo Dale Holloman, 95, of Daingerfield will be 11:00 a.m. August 15, 2020 at the Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Daingerfield Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Ms. Holloman will lie in state from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2020 at the funeral home. 

Jo Dale Holloman was born  on June 8, 1925 to Beulah James and Ben Lewis. She transitioned on July 29, 2020.  She attended public school in Dallas and completed her GED in Mt. Pleasant in 1982.  She married the love of her life, John Dee Holloman on December 6, 1940 and to this union two children were born; a son, Joe Dee Holloman; and a daughter, Dorotha Jean Brannon. 

Ms. Holloman was preceded in death by her husband; parents; her son; seven siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Dorotha Jean Brannon; a grandson, Jovaniel "Van" Holloman; great grandson, Quentin Holloman and his wife, Floisha "Flo" and son, Jeremiah; great granddaughter, Victoria "VV" Holloman and son, Jderrien; god-grandchildren, Curtis Morton and Karen Morton; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

  1. I will miss her. My great- aunt Jo Dale will forever be with me. For her love and kindness, and her sweet loving heart. I only wish there would have been more visits and more time to sit by her side. I can only smile thinking about my aunt Jo Dale and my family in heaven and one day I will rejoice seeing them all again.

  2. I met JoDale at Golden Blessings Senior Center where I worked. JoDale was a wonderful woman, so sweet and funny and always brought us homemade jelly. Fly High sweetie….

  4. Cousin Jo Dale was a beautiful lady I can remember coming to her house when I was a child with Joe and Ruth. She was funny she kept us laughing. Very sweet Lady ??. My condolences to the family and praying for you.
