Timotha Jones

timotha jones

Timotha Ruth Jones was the eldest child born to Timothy and Eva Ruth Mullin in Carrollton, Texas on August 27, 1946 in Daingerfield, Texas. Both preceded her in death.

Timotha joined the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, as a young child. She loved her church family and attending church services. You would often find her in the choir stand leading songs. Tim, as she was called by many, also served as an usher, and worked in other capacities as needed.

Timotha attended and matriculated through school in Morris County. She graduated from J.J. Rhoads High School in 1964.

Timotha chose domestic work as an occupation. Her dedication, loyalty, and work ethic were exemplary. She worked for several families during her vocation and they all adored Timotha.

In 1977, Timotha met the love of her life, William Curtis Jones. After courtship, the two united in marriage on October 18, 1982. No children were born to this union. They later remarried July 12, 2012.

Timotha was known for her consecrated life of service to others. She believed in the power of prayer and exercised her faith daily. Her spirit radiated love and care. If you needed a listening ear, an encouraging word, or a helping hand, she was there. More than anything, she loved the Lord. She will be greatly missed for all time!
