As soon as I heard. I remembered when we were kids living in Carterville and you came to the house on your motorcycle. We asked Mother if I could go for a ride. She said "yes but you better be careful John with my baby girl. " "Yes ma'am"
We take off and you told me, "We don't have any brakes."
We head back home and I asked you how are we gonna stop cause I know Mother's waiting on us.
You said, "Wait, we're going to down shift. "
Of course she was waiting on us. Well, I'm sure I don't have to finish what happened next.
My 2nd concert was with Harold Wayne, Tresa Lynn, you and me. Def Leppard and Tesla.
I love you Bubba. I still have my Pipe Fitters handbook you have me for college.
