Armer Gene "Ms. Kitty" Montgomery, age 78 of Lake O' The Pines, departed this life on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in a Longview area hospital. She was born in Marion County December 16, 1934 to the late Manse and Lannie Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Todd Montgomery. She leaves to cherish her memory: sons Gary Don Montgomery, Kevin Montgomery of Desota, Texas, daughter Deborah Wesley, grandson Jordan Sharp, four sisters: Ernestine Montgomery, Izetta Montgomery, Ozene Bryson and Deser (Alvoid Sr.) Walker, two brothers: Raymond (Alice) & Naymond (Polly) Montgomery and her brother Todd who proceeded her in death and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:00am Saturday at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, with burial following at Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home-Ore City. She will lie in state from noon until 8:00pm Friday, November 1, 2013 at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City, Texas.
