Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My parents always spoke so highly of Mr. Fowler. Apparently my grandfather and Mom were both more like family than friends. Since I’m not able to be there, I had my brother Jim sign Lyle’s name and mine to his register while Jim was in on Friday. Please accept our condolences on the loss of this fine Christian man. Sincerely–Lyle & Betsy Schindler

  2. Candle 2I have such fond memories of B.C. and Doris when we all worked for Ennis ISD many years ago. B.C. was such a character, always had a funny story to tell. And it was obvious Doris was the love of his life. My sincere condolences to his family. I know he will be missed. May God be with you all. Sincerely, Earline Reese, Ennis, TX

  3. Candle 5My first memory of B.C was when he was hired at Enniss ISD as an elementary principal. I was in charge of personnel at the time and told him I needed his original Teachers Certificate for his file. He promptly told me NO! That was his certificate, and he was keeping it! After we settled that we became friends for many years. He was nan asset to our district and had many friends in Ennis. Doris was such a lovely person and a pleasure to be around. I know he will be missed in his family’s life and in his community.
