Guestbook

  1. Dear Michelle, Barbara was unique and special to all of us growing up at FUMC Linden. Her energy and enthusiasm seemed boundless, and she put her heart into her family as well as ongoing stewardship of the Linden Garden Club. As a member of that club and as a former Sunday School student in the Christian education program she led for so many years, I offer a very sincere salute to your mom. Please let me know if I can do anything for you in this time of loss and reflection. I really mean it, believe me!Sincerely yours,Sue

  2. Ms. Barbara was a unique and filled with joy soul. Bringing her laughter and hope to everyone. I enjoyed her Sunday School class at First Methodist. My sincere prayers and thoughts are with family for Our Lords comfort and care to each of you.

  3. She was a wonderful lady and a great friend. She always made us kids feel special when we would visit her. She will be greatly missed.Heath Stone

  4. Our most sincere thoughts and prayers are with each of you. I will often remember that happy smile she had for everyone. I admired her for her beliefs, her courage and her passion for life. No matter what she was doing, she had the best attitude. Rejoice in her life so well lived. What a blessing she was to so many.

  5. Such a beautiful soul! I know the angels are not only singing, but rolling over laughing! Sister Barbaras natural sense of humor will be forever in my mind and in my heart! My prayers for comfort and peace during your time of mourning and overwhelming joy when you remember her later… because thats who she was!

  6. Michelle. I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I only met her a few times but she had to have been a great lady to have raised you so well. With all my sympathy.

  7. I have been traveling with work and did not hear the news Michelle. I learned so much from your Mom. And I hope there were no gladiolas or Mums (mine and Barbaras little joke).

  8. My sympathies to the Thompson, Skelton family: Ecclesiastes 3:12 tells us that there is nothing better than to rejoice and do good during ones life: May Almighty Gods loving-kindness comfort you as you celebrate Mrs. Barbaras life: Psalm 119:76
