Barney Joe Strickland

Barney Joe Strickland, 80, of Linden, Texas passed away January 18, 2020. Mr. Strickland was born August 6, 1939 in Center, Texas to E.B. Strickland and Audra Joplin. Barney served his country proudly in the United States Marines.
He is survived by two sons, Victor Dean Strickland and Joe Don Strickland; five grandchildren, Brandon Strickland, Steven Strickland, Stephanie Strickland, Darcie Strickland, Samantha Strickland and four great-grandchildren, Tyler Harris, Easton, Alyssa and Allye Strickland.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carole Sue Strickland; parents, E.B. and Audra Strickland and two sisters, Louise Young and Elouise Newell.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Barney and Carole Sue in the afternoon on Friday, April 24, 2020 at their residence at Centerhill.

I cant find the words. Barney Joe was special and I know he made his peace with our Lord. I think of so many things. I am mostly thankful for his life as this gave me 1 wonderful son and 4 grandchildren.
