Services for Ms. Bertha King, 58, of Lone Star, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 23, 2019 at Shiloh Temple of Faith. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery near Atlanta under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
Bertha Vannette Hudson-King was born December 23, 1960 to the parentage of Moses Sr. and Daisy Mae Hudson in Atlanta, Texas. She passed away March 11, 2019. She attended Jefferson High School.
She loved her family and friends. She was always a joy to be around. She was a member of the Greater Love Baptist Church.
Bertha was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Terrance C. Hudson and Monique L. King; brother, Moses Hudson Jr.
She is survived by two daughters, Demetria Hudson of Dallas, Michelle Hudson of Lone Star; two sons, Lamonte Hudson, Reginald (Amanda) Hudson of Lone Star; seven grandchildren, Kemia Lee, DaNesia Hudson, LaErius Reese, Deja Hudson all of Dallas, Briana Reese of Longview, Lathan Hudson of Texarkana, and Reginald Hudson, Jr. of Daingerfield; seven great-grandchildren, Stefon Webb, Jr. Charles Brown, Jr., Charleigh Brown, Kendall Webb, Tristan Webb, Jamarian Blanton, and Kamri Standford; five sisters, Charline (Dennis) Walton of Hughes Springs, Brenda Abron of Lone Star, Thelma Hudson of Hughes Springs, Lizzie Brown of Lone Star, Sherry (Ira) Larry of Atlanta; brothers, Danny (Sherri) Gulley of Waco, Harold (Cherri) Johnson, of Mt. Pleasant; sister-in-law, Emma Hudson of New Boston; special friends, Rueben Hawkins, Richard Grant, Tyrone West, Jerry Chism, Larry Pruitt, and Edwin Haley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
To my family, I can’t Express the feelings that I am having right now. Let’s just get closer to help each other get through this trying time. LOVE YALL
