Berton Jay Brewer, 52, of Linden passed away May 19, 2018 peacefully at his home. Mr. Brewer was born January 31, 1966 in Ft. Knox, Kentucky to Jerry Brewer and Marilyn Barnes Brewer.
Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Wanda Brewer of Linden; two daughters, MaryAnn Jordan and husband Doug of Texarkana, TX., Tania Greer of Atlanta, TX.; six brothers, Brian Brewer, Barry Brewer, Van Williams, Marq Williams, Marvin Williams, Michael Williams; two sisters, Lucy Barling, Heiu Thi Peeler; step-mother, Sinh Thi Brewer; two sisters-in-law, RoseMary Hays, Marsha Copeland; three grandchildren, Brad Tyson, Ashley Tyson, Sophia Greer; three great-grandchildren, Adalyn, Sydney and Brayden Tyson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, Macey Avis; son-in-law, Greg Tyson and brother-in-law, Larry Copeland.
Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in the Chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden with Pastor Michael Bedevian officiating. Burial to follow in the Wells Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

I worked with Bert for Many years in Tubing Dept…He was really a Great… guy to work with Always Friendly to everyone and got along with others…and always talked to everyone… Our Heart-felt Condolences goes out to his Wife, Daughters, Grand-kids, great grand-kids and Immediate Family…May GOD Wrap his Loving Arms around each one & give each one the Comfort and Strength during this most Diffucult Time……C.B.McManus
Bert was the first friend I made when Lisa and I moved to Linden in 2006. I will miss him.
