Funeral services for Ms. Beverly Renee Williams, age 61, of Lone Star, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City.Β  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, under the direction ofΒ  Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.Β  Ms. Williams will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Hughes Springs.

Beverly Renee Williams was born on March 14, 1962 in Avinger, Texas to the late Chester Lee Tatum and Willie Ruth Tatum. She attended Jefferson Independent School District. On Tuesday, January 9, 2024 she departed this earthly tabernacle in the comfort of her home, surrounded by family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Edward Rockwell, Jr. and Hughbert Charles Rockwell; and one step-daughter.

Those left to cherish her memory are her fiancΓ©, Donald W. “Boom” Grant; daughter, Brittany Williams of Lone Star; granddaughter, Bailey Emanuel of Lone Star; sister, Clara Veasy of Avinger; best friend, Fannie Grundy of Texarkana; special classmates; one very special cousin/sister, Renita Durden Jones of Longview; very special aunt/mother, Mertrude Smith of Avinger; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
