Billy Joe Patterson

Billy Joe Patterson, 81, of Kildare, Tx., died Monday, December 2, 2013 at his home in Kildare. He was born April 10, 1932 in Fort Payne, Al, to Nolan and Esther Kilgore Patterson. Mr. Patterson was in the Army and was a chef on an offshore drilling rig. He was preceded in death by his son Billy Joe Patterson and one brother, R.L. Hughes. Survivors include three daughters, Christal Gail Bowman of Linden, Linda Gail Patterson and Brenda Sue Patterson; one son, Allen Dale Patterson; two brothers, James Michael Hughes and Earl Hughes and one sister, Maxine Graham. A Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday December 8, 2013, at the First Baptist Church in Kildare. Burial will take place at Mockingbird Hill in Linden.
