Bobbie Jean Gandy, 84, of Hughes Springs, was born in Red Lick, Texas to Robert and Emmie Sisk. She earned her Heavenly wings, December 22, 2022. Bobbie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was always there for her community. She loved her family, Turkey Creek Baptist Church and her neighbors deeply. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Melvin C. Stone and Bobby R. Gandy; sisters: Ruth Anderson, Dorothy Cochanaur, and Virginia Sisk.

She is survived by her children: Tina Love and husband, Louis, Teonna Hall, Sharon Matthews and husband Tom, and Marsha Garner; grandchildren: Brandon Hubnik, Jaysen Putman, Jamie Putman and Justin, Tommy Stewart and wife Kera, Lacey Connolly, Russell and Zackary Garner; great-grandchildren:  Keegan, Keeley, Tripp, Jaycee, Kaysen, Calli, Briley, and Brogan; sisters:  Alvina McClure and Deloris Smith; step-children: Clinton and Carly Gandy; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Ms. Bobbie will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 5:00 until 7:00 Monday evening at the funeral home.

  3. I loved Ms. Bobbie dearly. God brought her into my life when I needed someone the most. She was a great counselor, cheerleader and even a defender at times. She blessed me more than words can tell. I am so thankful for her unconditional love and hugs. I will think of fondly for the rest of my life.

  4. I have fond memories of her thru most of my younger years. It started with her living just down the street from my family home in Texarkana and later visiting their home in Hughes Springs.
    Keeping the family in my thoughts and prayers.
