Booker T Lawton Jr

HUGHES SPRINGS- Funeral services for Booker T. Mutt Lawton, Jr., 79, of Daingerfield, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Wallick Chapel Christian Church, with Pastor Wayne Roberson officiating. Burial will follow at Whitmore Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Lawton will lie in state all day Friday. Booker T. Mutt Lawton, Jr. was born July 24, 1933 to Booker T. Lawton, Sr. and Arlena Lawton. He attended school at J.J. Rhodes in Daingerfield. He worked for Rhynes Fencing Co. until his health failed. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and two sisters. He leaves to cherish his memory, three sisters, Lena Mae Hines, of Daingerfield, Geneva Durham, of Dallas, and Emma Jean Love, of California; two aunts, Juanita Evans, of Daingerfield, and Wilma Lawton, of Mt. Pleasant; and a host of nieces, nephew, and friends.
