Brenda Joyce Washington, 73, of Linden passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Mrs. Washington was born June 7, 1940 in Marshall, Tx to James Martin Hudson and Eunice Hudson. She worked at Linden Drug Company as a bookkeeper for many years. Survivors include her two daughters; Jamie Hancock and husband Ron of Spring, Tx., Sandi Washington of La Porte, Tx.; two grandsons, Jeremy Washington of Longview, Tx., Jessie Blackburn of Linden, Tx.; four great-grandchildren, Cass Sartain, Nicholas and Gracie Washington, Nikki Blackburn; nephew John Hudson and niece Tiffany Grimes of Dallas, Tx. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Eunice Hudson; brother Donald Hudson and her partner in life Leon Lawson. There will be a time of visitation from 5 until 7:00 P.M. Saturday evening at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday March 23, 2014 at Pinecrest Baptist Church with Bro. Bryan Baggett officiating. Burial to follow in the Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
