Calvin Wayne Peters

Mr. Calvin Wayne Peters was born December 8, 1958 to Henry S. and Eddie (Curlie) D. Anderson Peters. He passed from this earth on March 3, 2014. Calvin attended schools in the Daingerfield-Lone Star school district. He worked as general laborer at T&N of Lone Star and also at Pilgrims Pride. Calvin had a lot of trades, often called the Fix-it-Man. In 1994 Calvin married Lutricia Aurthur Fomby and became a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his mother; and grandparents, Frankie Peters, Henry and Ethel Mason, Rosie L. Hood, Edward Anderson. Calvin leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Lutricia; his father, Henry; his grandfather, Henry L. Peters; one daughter, Eletha Peters; five stepdaughters; three stepsons; two sisters, Beverly (Robert) Chism, Barbara Peters; two brothers, Carl (Priscilla) Peters, Steve (Chandra) Peters; a host of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; three aunts, Earlie (Leroy) Wilkerson, Alice Stanton, Margaret (Guy) Grant; three uncles, Billy Don (Nancy) Smith, Bobby Wayne (Maudie) Peters, Benny Charles Peters; one great aunt Ersulene Hurndon; one great uncle William (Margaret) Jones; 13 nieces and nephews; 14 great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Oak Grove Church of Christ. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
