Services for Charles E. Wallace, 80, of Daingerfield will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 21, 2006 at Veal Switch Missionary Baptist Church, Hughes Springs, with Rev. Butch Shipp officiating. Burial will follow at Veal Switch Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Wallace died Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at his residence. He was born May 6, 1926 in Morris County, Texas. He was a truck driver and a member of Veal Switch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Lona Bell Wallace, two brothers, J.D. Wallace and Joe Dan Wallace; five sisters, Ida Pierce, Marie Blackwell, Virginia Ann Johnson, Doris Stuart, and Johnnie Lee Watkins, one grandchild, David Ray Collard, and son-in-law, Rex Collard. He is survived by his wife, Dolly Wallace of Daingerfield; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dois and Charlene Wallace of Daingerfield, Charles Ray and Kim Wallace of Daingerfield, and Jay and Laura Wallace of Omaha; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sherry Collard of Daingerfield and Robin and Dale Reichert of Naples; one brother, Carl Allen Wallace; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon and evening at the funeral home and the family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 8111 LBJ Freeway, Suite 425 Dallas, TX 75251
