Sending condolences from the Parker family to Mr. Kerlin and his loved ones. What a dear and loyal friend Miss Charla was to each one of us over the years. What a beautiful reunion she must have had in Heaven this morning with her sweet Brad. Much love, and I feel certain that among her greeters was a particular Redskin fan welcoming his favorite Cowboys fan with open arms!
I am so sorry for your loss. Gary and I loved Mrs . Charla so much. She will be greatly missed.
Charla Reese was such a positive and loving person. I remember when we went to a Christian concert out at music city she was talking to this young woman when I walked up and I heard the woman ask her about her soul. Charla Reese replied well hear my preacher ask him. Sharon and extend our love to the family.
So saddened that she had to go. This town will miss her friendly, smiling face! RIP Charlie.??

We were heart broken to learn of Charla’s death. She was truly an ICON of Linden, and everyone loved and adored her. I have such fond memories of us wrapping Christmas presents for Allen Bros! She was so much fun to work with. May God comfort you and give you the strength to continue on without her. The memories you have will be treasures forever! We love you dearly! We first met Charlie when we moved to Linden in 2005. She became our greeter when we held the Texas Music Awards here, and ALL of the musicians who came made a point to tell us what an incredible ‘face of Linden’ we had in Charlie. Besides her gumption and permanent positivity, I will miss her sweet soft hands when she would hold your face to look in your eyes and tell you how much she loved you. My only regret is not moving to Linden sooner. A remarkable, unforgettable lady. God bless Miss Charlie…our very own ‘Miss Linden’. Xoxo
I first met Charlie while waiting in line for tickets to see Don Henley. We made fast friends during that conversation, and I enjoyed seeing her smiling face and hearing her warm voice as she greeted so many at Music City Texas. She was a true lady, genuine in her love of others, and represented Linden so well. She will be missed by so many!
Kerlin, I am so sorry to hear about Charlie Reese. I remember her so well from my time there, what a sweet and pretty person she was. Prayers for you and your family.
