Graveside services for Christopher Wayne Moffett, 39, of Hughes Springs, will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Liberty Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
Chris was born January 1, 1984 in Galveston, Texas, and passed away November 6, 2023 in Hughes Springs, Texas. He was a skilled auto mechanic who could fix anything. He was good with his hands and took pride in fixing and building things. He enjoyed music and played the drums. He had a big heart and a great sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh and brighten their day. He loved his family and will be missed by everyone who really knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Marie Elias; stepfather, Richard Elias; grandfather, Vern Williams; and great-grandmother, Delma Sims.
Chris is survived by his son, Seth Moffett; daughter, Kate Moffett; father, Walter Eugene Moffett and family; brother, sister-in-law and niece, Brandon, Stefanie, and Lyndee Moffett; grandmother, Barbara Sims; uncle, Brent Williams, cousins, Brittany Coleman, Kimberly Williams, Courtney Fuentes, and Alexis Diaz; his family in law who loved him as if he was their own, Scott, Susan, and Shea Nelson as well as Samantha Smith; and numerous other family and friends.
