Funeral services for Cleo Anderson, 82, of Ore City will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Ore City. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City. Mr. Anderson will lie in state form 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. 

Mr. Cleo Anderson was born on January 20, 1938 to the union of Franklin Pierce Anderson and Laura Carr Anderson.

Cleo attended Duncan High School. He joined church at an early age. He was member of St. Paul Baptist Church. Cleo enjoyed watching old Westerns, fishing, working on motorized equipment and gardening.

Cleo quietly departed this life Saturday, March 7, 2020, at CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, Texas. He will reunite with his wife, Shelia Anderson; parents, Franklin Pierce and Laura Anderson; brothers, Jimmy Lee (Jim) and Starling Anderson; sister, Ozella Rockwell; and son, Henry Lee Anderson.

His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: Annette Renee Anderson of Dallas, Texas, Laura Mae Anderson (Vince) of Fort Worth, Texas, Cleo Anderson Jr. (LaKeshia) of Glenn Heights, Texas, Sherwon Black (Traci) of Longview, Texas; stepdaughter, Bridget Forman of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Frances Morrow and Pearl Criss, both Ore City, Texas; brother, Willie Lee Anderson (Yulanda) of Ore City, Texas; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
