Funeral services for Mr. Clyde Aurthur Strange, 92, of Daingerfield will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday February 16, 2014 at Veal Switch Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Veal Switch Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6 until 8 Saturday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Strange passed away February 12, 2014 at a Longview hospital. He was born August 19, 1921 in Wood County, Texas to Edmond and Ella Strange. Clyde was a member of Veal Switch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Strange. Survivors include his wife, Estelle Strange; one daughter, Gaybe Chaffin; four grandchildren, Bruce Fuqua, Brian Fuqua and his wife Vicky, Sheila Slussler, and Shelly Butler; one sister Ida Wallace; one brother James Strange; twelve great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.

We have lost an extraordinary person. He believed in God, his family and friends. I will miss his smile, company and warm hug. He was adored by my family. I can picture the reunion with my dad and mom and them all celebrating in Heaven with Jesus.
