Funeral services for Mr. Clyde Godbolt will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mr Godbolt will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 at the funeral home.

Clyde Edward Godbolt was born December 11, 1946 to Clyde and Lucille Traylor Godbolt in Cason, Texas. He passed away March 30, 2019 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Helen Campbell.

Clyde is survived by his companion, Raynell Doddy; three daughters, Gwendolyn (Michael) Cheatum, Ashley Shelton, and Felicia Armstrong; brother, Harold (Evelyn) Godbolt; 14 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
