Crandall Jay Knight was born August 27, 1954 to Virginia Knight and Atchen Caven in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed May 18, 2015. He was Associate Pastor at St. John Baptist Church. He completed his education in Kansas City, Missouri. Rev. Knight profoundly enjoyed talking with friends about the Lord. He was skilled and loved fixing anything that was broken. He loved to joke and was a happy spiritual man. Cherishing his memory is his wife, Ella Knight; daughter, Charonda Knight Mitchell; sisters, Rochelle Winfrey (Ronald), Regina Knight, Altha Johnson; brother, Lyle Knight; five grandchildren, DaVaughn Mitchell, Allexus Mitchell, Abrianna Mitchell, KeSean Mitchell, Christina Berry and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Knight Myles; father, Atchen Caven; brothers, Eddie Davis and Calvin Knight; granddaughter, DaCota Mitchell and nephew, Cory Knight. Services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 23, 2015 at St. John Baptist Church in Kildare, Tx with Rev. Don Mitchell officiating. Burial to follow at Galloway Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
