Mrs. Daisy P. Marsh, a beloved and faithful servant, went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2016. Daisy was born April 23, 1934 in Decatur, Texas and passed away February 9, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howley A. Marsh; parents, W.R.C. and Mary Hollis; brother, James Hollis; and grandson, Shawn Jennings. She is survived by three daughters, Shela Meadows and husband William of Jenkins, Teresa Marsh of Mt. Pleasant, and Melanie Marsh of Greenville; two sons, Marvin Marsh of Daingerfield and Daniel Marsh of Greenville; five grandchildren, Stephen Marsh of Daingerfield, Jonathan Marsh of Florida, Vircie Meadows of Jenkins, Cody Meadows of Hughes Springs, and Tabatha Jennings of Mt. Pleasant; two great-grandchildren, Bryce Meadows of Gilmer and Linzy Walker of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Walter Hollis of Decatur, Texas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Services for Mrs. Marsh will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Daingerfield, with Bro. John Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Clark Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be time of visitation from 6 until 8 Friday evening at the funeral home.
