Funeral services for Dolly E. Wallace, 86, of Daingerfield, will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Veal Switch Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Veal Switch Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, in Hughes Springs. The family will receive visitors from 6 until 8 Friday evening at the church. Mrs. Wallace was born July 17, 1926 in Cooper, Texas and passed away February 12, 2013 at her home. Dolly was raised by her grandparents, Ma and Pa, Granville and Florence Lile. She married Charles Edward Wallace on December 23, 1944 in Hughes Springs, Texas. Mrs. Wallace was a member of Veal Switch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parent; three brothers, Harvey, Bud and Jim Simpson; one grandchild David Ray Collard; and son-in-law Rex Collard. She leaves to cherish her memories, four sons, Dois E. Wallace and wife Charlene, Charles Ray Wallace and wife Kim, Jay E, Wallace, Sr. and wife Laura, and Randall Crawley; three daughters Sherry Collard, Robin Reichert and husband Dale, and Mary Sims; two brothers D. C. and Rick Simpson; two sisters Johnnie Hunter and Earline Bailey; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
