There will be a time of visitation prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Sheridan was born November 21, 1951 in Grand Saline and passed away March 1, 2017 in Longview. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Anna Lavern Sheridan.

He is survived by his children, Jessica Almendarez and husband Shane, and Leslie Sheridan and wife Destiny; grandchildren, Olivia Almendarez, Alex Sheridan, Kandon Sheridan, and Ella Sheridan.

After a career of long haul truck driving, Don decided to change course.  He graduated from North East Texas Community College in 1995 as a Registered Nurse.  He served in the medical field for over 20 years, working in various positions from cardiac care to hospice care.  His love for helping others was trumped only by his love for his children and grandchildren, and their love for him.
