Donald John Moore, 70, of Bivins, was born July 5, 1951 in Kildare, Texas to Robert Paul Moore, Jr. and Miriam Loyola Moore. He passed away March 16, 2022 at his home. Johnny loved hunting, fishing, riding his tractor and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He was in law enforcement for almost 20 years, disabled from Cass County Sheriffs Office on October 9, 2009.
 
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert Paul Moore, III. 
 
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Elizabeth Moore of Kildare; daughter, Tammy Lynn Duncan and husband Doug of Kildare; son, Donald John Moore, Jr. of Hendersonville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Dylan Duncan and wife Lacey of Linden, Summer Barrickman and husband Adam of Daingerfield, Hunter Johnson; great-granddaughters, Georgia Kate and Gentry Lane Duncan; daughter, Charlotte Johnson and husband William; siblings, Carmen Moore, Gladys Phares, Walter Moore, Jimmy Moore, and Kitty Summerland; uncle, Morriss and wife Aunt Sun.
 
Services for Mr. Moore will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Kildare Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 Friday evening at the funeral home.

  8. Praying for peace and strength for my Kildare family. I have so many fond memories of Uncle Johnny from when we visited as I was growing up. The best were when Johnny, Boo, Jimmy and my dad would decide they were living their glory days, playing football in the field beside Mimi and Papaws house. We love and miss you all and will be down soon to visit.
