Funeral services for Donald Ray Naron, 80, of Hughes Springs will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Reeder-Davis Chapel Rev. Brian Baldwin and Kevin Haygood officiating. Burial will follow at Bradfield Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6 until 8 Friday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Naron was born July 30, 1933 in Hughes Springs and passed away June 17, 2014 at a Longview hospital. He was retired from Cass County, Precinct #2, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Local Union 623, Local Union 819, and the International Union of Operating Engineers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Mollie Naron. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Naron of Hughes Springs; son, Justin Naron and wife Chelsey of Hughes Springs; daughter, Christine DeAngelo of Honey Brook, PA; grand-daughters, Lydia Grayce Naron and Laney Smith both of Hughes Springs; step-son Tim Leftwich of Hughes Springs; two brothers, Marvin Naron and wife Patsy of Hughes Springs and Earnest Naron of Brenham, TX; and niece Bobbie Haygood of Hughes Springs.
