I'm so sad to hear of Donna's passing. I had been trying to reconnect with her and looking on the internet for the past year. I moved to East Texas from Oklahoma during high school and Donna took me under her wing. I soon came to know her whole family and so appreciate their many kindnesses. Donna was so special. Such an individual, so eager to experience life and to try new things. She was fun, funny and generous to a fault, and I particularly remember how loving she was with children. I remember coming to visit when Josh was a newborn. Oh, how she loved him. My heart is breaking that I will never talk to her again. She was a force of nature and I'm so glad to have known her.
