Funeral services for Doris Stuckey Russell, of Hughes Springs, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Reeder-Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Neeley officiating, burial will follow in the Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Doris Passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at her home in Hughes Springs. She was born on December 17, 1933 in Hughes Springs. She was a long time member of Hughes Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Doris graduated from Hughes Springs High School as valedictorian of her class in 1951 and attended business school in Tyler before beginning her career at General Dynamics Corporation in Lone Star, Tx. She later was co-manager of Morris County Title Company in Daingerfield for 25 years. Doris is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Carole Russell of Austin, Tx.; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and John Smith of Omaha, Ar.; granddaughter and her husband Erin and Landon Crow of Fall River, Ks.; grandson, Tanner Smith of Omaha, Ar.; great granddaughter Macy Crow of Fall River, Ks; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Jimmy Sinclair and Sue and Donnie Pool, all of Hughes Springs; brother-in-law Wayne Russell of Winnsboro, ; and several nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Grady Russell and her parents, Wesley and Audra Stuckey. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home
