Funeral services for Dorothy Julleen Brown Beam, 68 of Hughes Springs will be 3:30 P.M., Sunday, January 20, 2012 at Reeder-Davis Chapel with Randy Seybert officiating. Burial will follow at Dennis Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Beam was born October 11, 1944 in Whitesboro and passed away January 18, 2013 in a Tyler hospital. She was a Homemaker. She is survived by her mother Dorothy Pauline Brown; four brothers Paul Brown, Jack Brown, Darrell Brown, Slim Brown; two sisters Ollie Robertson and Lida Casey; children and their spouses Carol and Ricky Kyle, Ronald and Kim Beam and Deana Cato; grandchildren Candiss (Cliff) Giddings, Chris (Sam) Green, Ashley Beam Michael (Tiffany) Cato, Celecia Cato, Trenton Beam, Troy Beam, Trey Beam, Jacie Beam, Laila Giddings, Lola Beam, Tori Cato, Annica Green, Adalyn Green, Levi Giddings, Acein Green, Brayden Cato, Lincoln Kyle and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Beam; her father J.B. Brown; and a brother Roy Brown. Family visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. tonight, January 19, at the funeral home.

we had a lot of good times together holidays,camping, weekends,love ones we have lost and years of knowing each other. one day we will see each other again and our loved ones. love you sister-in-law but after all the years you are more a sister that will be missed

I had to say one more thing.My memory went back to the first time I heard Dorothy sing with Newtie & Frank playing guitar. She sang like an angel.Now the trio can play and sing forever.
So sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. She always had that big old smile on her face when she talked to you..Know she will be missed by all. Just keep all your memories close to your heart and one day you all will be reunited…and give my brother, Cotton, a big hug up there ….
