Having known PeeWee (Doug) over 40 years, I am happy to have known him as a friend. A pleasant person to be around. He loved his children and family unconditionally. I will miss seeing him and Anita at Walmart, which is where I have run into him in the last couple of years. Rest easy friend. You will always be remembered!
PeeWee was always a lot of fun to be around and he was a good friend. He brought a lot of joy to people's lives. He will truly be missed.
Pee Wee was one of the most loving people I have ever known. If you needed a laugh, call Pee Wee. if you needed a shoulder to cry or lean on, Call Pee Wee. He will always live in my memories. Prayers to Anita and the kids and all the very loving and great family of Gee folks he was a very important part of.
Dougs family, I am sorry for your loss. Cherish fond memories and find comfort in Almighty Gods assurance that soon all sickness and death will be no more (Isaiah 25:8; 33:24). Also 1 Peter 5:7 says cast your anxiety upon Almighty God; for he cares for you
My heart goes out to Anita and family during this sad time. There are no words of solace that will comfort right now. Doug Fought the good fight, he finished the race and he kept his faith. May God bless you all..
I did not realize Pee Wee had passed until today. I met him in late 80's early 90's as a neighbor and our friendship continued through the years even though we lived miles apart. At the barbershop in Hughes Springs, was the last time I saw him. He was a quiet, easy going man and he will certainly be missed.
