  1. Candle 8Hey Dad,
I can feel you, hear you, and see you in everything around me. I hug Mom and I can smell you in her sweater from all the hugs and kisses you two exchanged. She misses you. Love deeply, hurt deeply is an understatement but I understand it now. Thank you for bringing Mom to me so that we can take care of her for you. It will never be as well as you took care of her but the hugs, the kisses, the tears, and the laughs will be there… in your honor… every day. I will light a candle on here for you but just know it would be a cigar if I had it my way. XOXO’s

  2. Candle 5Hi Umpa, I hope the cookie I gave you last is sitting nicely in your belly. I’m going to miss the sunrises with you, but now we can all watch you rise with the sun next time we see a sunrise. I love you, and miss you very much. I can’t wait to feel your warm hugs again.

    Love, Lindsey

  3. Beth, I didn’t want to believe what I was reading. I hope there is some comfort that you know Kitty & Jim are with Dwight.
    Mimi

  4. Candle 6My life is so much fuller having known Dwight and meeting Beth. I always smiled when I heard him on the radio. Visiting with him every year was a treat. He told stories well and what a collection of experiences he had: his military service, ham radio, lighthouses, cigars, Beth’s art and so many more I probably don’t even know about. He and Beth delighted my wife and i when they made a stop in our hometown for supper several months ago. I’ll miss my friend but will remember his enjoyment for life and how much he obviously loved Beth.

  5. I’m sorry for your loss, prayers to you Beth and the family. We were neighbors for around 33 years. He was a great guy.

    • Candle 2Heather and Beth –
I have been so blessed in my lifetime to meet some amazing people and Mr. Greenberg was one of those people. He was so kind, intelligent and a genuinely nice person and his life will forever be a footprint on my heart and each of those he met.

My heart aches for what you are feeling right now and am saying prayers for comfort.

  6. Candle 2My heart breaks hearing this news. You and Beth have always been like second parents to me. I wish Beth, Heather and all of those affected by this deeply sad loss peace and love in your memory.

    • Candle 2Beth, I’m so sorry. Dwight was a good friend to John and to me. He was always ready to jump in and help out. We’ll miss him terribly. We miss you too, my friend. So glad you have your family close.

  7. Candle 7I could not believe it when I heard of Dwight’s passing. Seemed he was recovering well and now this. Dwight and Beth would bring baby birds for us to watch and that was an enjoyable adventure. Pat and I are saddened by this loss and our prayers are with you Beth and your family.

  8. Candle 2Dwight, you were a pleasure to be around and your family are truly an example of your love and heart. Your positive attitude and comforting way about you I will always remember. Thank you for your service to this Nation and may God continue to bless you and your beautiful family. Rest In Peace my friend .
