LINDEN TX Eddie R. Neese, 75, of Benbrook, Texas, died Monday, September 2, 2013 in a hospice facility in Ft. Worth. He was born February 23, 1938, in Cass County, Texas to Eddie Merritt and Ruby Pauline Renfro Neese. He was raised in the Bear Creek community near Linden. Bro. Eddie was Southern Baptist pastor and served most recently as pastor of Prairieville Baptist Church, after pastoring for many years in Texas and Montana. He also served as a missionary in both Indonesia and Malaysia. Survivors include his wife, Judy, of Benbrook; two sons, David Neese and wife, Carrie, of Nacogdoches and Jonathan Neese of Wichita Falls; one daughter, Brenda Neese Snider and husband, Mark, of Benbrook; four brothers, Eugene Neese of Linden, Don Neese of Shreveport, Louisiana, Freddie Neese of Ft. Worth and Dale Neese of Linden; two sisters, Lois Seitz of Plano and Janie Debenport of Arlington; nine grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be at 2:00pm, Friday, September 6, 2013 at Bear Creek Baptist Church, Linden, with Rev. Tyler Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. A time of visitation will be at 1:00pm, Friday, at the church.

Eddie, was always a blessing to be around. I will never forget how he loved people unconditionally. Judy, Brenda, David and Jonathan,and the rest of the family, you are in my prayers as you walk this very difficult Journey. There is no doubt that when Jesus took Eddie home, He said, "Well done, Thy good and faithful servant". Love to all of you!!

I am sad to hear of Pastor Eddie's passing. He was a caring pastor who was loved by his churches. My prayers are with the Neese family. Bro. Eddie was a great man and pastor. Enjoy your eternal reward.
