Funeral Services for Eddie Perry, age 65, of Ore City, will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday August 8, 2015 at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Ore City. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City. Mr. Perry will lie in state Friday, August 7 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., with visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Eddie Don Perry, 65, (PeePaul and Duck) of Ore City was born December 25, 1949 and passed away August 2, 2015 in Longview at Haven Care Nursing Home from a sudden diagnosis of metastatic colon cancer. He was born in Ore City to Everett and Oddessa Perry. He was raised by his maternal grandmother Nettie Jeffery Moon Morrow. He graduated from Ore City High School. He worked for Coppedge Auto, Perrys Cove, Long Motors and Etex Telephone Company for over 35 years. His parents, grandparents, and siblings preceded him in death. To cherish his memory are his Aunt Mozelle Moon; sister Delois Patton; dearly brotherly love Jerry Wayne Tunson, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
